Protest Cantonese 101: Slogan in anti-extradition bill protests

If you love Hong Kong and Cantonese, you will definitely notice a large-scale protest taking place in Hong Kong since June 2019 for the withdraw of extradition law.  Hong Kongers have fought bravely against this law, even sacrificed their lives, as this law would enable the China government to arrest and prosecute suspects in Hong Kong, leading to a dramatic decline of civil liberties in this international city.

In addition to the withdrawal of the extradition law, as the movement progressed, more demand has been voiced out by protestors.  Have you ever wondered what do they say in their slogan?  In this lesson, we will introduce slogans that can be heard frequently in the protest.
