U1L8 Using a complete sentence as an object

Introduction

In previous lesson, you have learnt how to use noun(名詞), verb(動詞), adjective(形容詞) and clause(分句)as an object of a sentence.  In this lesson, we are going to learn how to use a full sentence(完整句子)as an object of a sentence.

 

Using a full sentence as an object

A full sentence is a clause that possess an acting subject.  In general, verbs that are related with thinking or speaking will use a full sentence as an object.

Guessing(會)

In last lesson, you have learnt that 會[wui5] is used to describe action to be carried out in future as a predication.  Therefore, 會 is often used along with sentences related with guessing.
